ABOUT MADE FOR MORE

Made for More Pediatric Clinic was created to provide children and families with exceptional, individualized therapy in an environment where every child is seen for their potential — not their limitations.

We provide pediatric physical, occupational, and speech therapy while continually seeking innovative approaches, specialized services, and resources that give children more opportunities to grow, gain independence, and thrive.

At Made for More, we believe therapy should be more than checking boxes or meeting milestones. It should be personal, collaborative, and centered around the whole child and the family walking alongside them.

Because we believe every child was Made for More — and they deserve a therapy team that believes that, too!

Meet our founder

Maddie Burton

Before I was the founder of Made for More Pediatric Clinic, I was simply a mom trying to find the very best care and opportunities for my son, Bear.

Over the past three years, our family has walked through Bear’s recovery journey — one filled with therapies, specialists, research, travel, uncertainty, hard days, and some pretty incredible milestones.

I never planned to open a pediatric therapy clinic. But somewhere along the way, this journey changed me.

I experienced firsthand how difficult it can be to find the right resources for your child. I learned what it feels like to sit on a waitlist when you know your child needs help now, to travel for therapies that aren't available close to home, and to constantly wonder, “Is there more we could be doing?”

But I also experienced just how powerful it is when you find the right people.

We found therapists who believed in Bear, celebrated the smallest wins alongside us, challenged him to do hard things, and refused to define what he was capable of based solely on a diagnosis. They taught me the power of looking at a child and asking not “What are his limitations?” but “What could be possible?”

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, I believe God used the hardest parts of our stories to create purpose we never could have planned for ourselves.

Bear is the reason this journey started, but Made for More is from my family to yours. It’s for every family who has ever wondered if there could be more for their child — because I believe there is.

Why Made for more?

Because families deserve more options.

Made for More was built around a simple belief: families shouldn't have to settle for what's available when their child may benefit from something more.

Through our own journey, I saw firsthand how difficult it can be to find the right resources, how long families can wait for services, and how often specialized therapies require hours of travel just to access them. I also learned how much can be possible when a child is given the right support, the right opportunities, and a team willing to think beyond limitations.

That experience shaped the vision for Made for More.

We’re here to bring more options closer to home — combining high-quality pediatric therapy with innovative approaches, specialized programs, and opportunities that families might otherwise have to travel to find.

But just as importantly, we want families to feel like they have a team beside them. A place where questions are welcomed, collaboration matters, progress is celebrated, and we're always willing to keep learning and exploring what could help a child move forward.

We may not always know exactly what a child's journey will look like. But we will always believe there is more worth reaching for.

Every child deserves to be seen for their potential — not their limitations.

They were Made for More, and they deserve a therapy team that believes that, too.

So that’s what we’re building — a place where we’ll be busy helping kids do more of what they were made to do.

We can't wait to meet you!

Laney Clark, MS, CCC-SLP

Hello! My name is Laney Clark, and I have been practicing speech-language pathology for over 3 years. I earned my undergraduate degree in Communication Disorders from Auburn University in 2021, and later earned my Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2023.

I was born and raised in Alabama but have had the privilege to practice and connect with families in Alabama, North Carolina, and now Georgia. I am passionate about working with children as I seek to improve their overall speech, language, and literacy skills. Outside of being a speech-language pathologist, I enjoy reading, painting, grabbing coffee with friends, and trying new restaurants with my husband.
